Gilco International Ltd was one of New Zealand's oldest and most respected freight and customs companies. Originally established in 1967 as Craigs Customs Agency Ltd, Gilco served the needs of New Zealand's importing and exporting community for more than 40 years. Before that, Gilco operated as a division of J.J. Craigs Ltd, a trading company founded in the 19th century and a pioneer of road and sea transport in the South Pacific. In 2016, Gilco International acquired Merz & Associates, leading to the creation of Logistics Connection.
Having offices close to both air and seaports enables a full range of cargo handling and documentation functions by Logistics Connection, producing consistent and reliable results. Licensed by NZ Customs to load and unload both sea and air freight containers and licensed by the Ministry for Primary Industries as an Approved Transitional Facility, Logistics Connection is able to offer a complete packing, storage and distribution service.
